About Us

Our History

For over 50 years, TMM Family Services has been a beacon of hope, offering affordable housing for Tucson’s most vulnerable: children, families, seniors, and veterans. We believe a stable home empowers individuals and families to reach their full potential.

Founded in 1974 by Tucson Methodist churches, TMM initially focused on foster care. In 1984, ReStore, a community store supporting TMM programs, opened its doors. Real estate acquisitions followed, allowing TMM to expand its footprint and capacity to provide much needed services.

In 2018, TMM shifted its focus to solely affordable housing. Today, we manage 80 units on our main campus, with expansion plans underway. But TMM isn’t stopping there. With new leadership, we’re collaborating with partners to offer wraparound services, empowering residents toward independence and proactively preventing homelessness. We’ve seen countless lives transformed: seniors finding security, veterans achieving peace, and single mothers building brighter futures. These stories fuel our passion and commitment.
